Three Decades at Access Point

SOUTHPORT based Access Point (APUK) celebrate three of it’s staff passing the ten year marker.

The marketing company presented three members of its 32 strong team with 10 year service awards this month.

Jeanette Morgan, Operations Director; Surinder Hatch, Credit Controller and Jacquie Sim, Head of Sales have all been with the company for over ten years. 

David Robertshaw, director of Access Point, said “They say a company is as good as it’s staff, if so we must be wonderful!  It’s fair to say that Access Point wouldn’t be where it is if it were not for these three key members of the team.  By their nature, sales teams and support staff can have a high turnover of people, however we have been extremely fortunate to develop all three individuals into key roles of our business.  We wanted to show to them how valued they are and encourage other team members to follow in their footsteps.”

The next six months will also see a further three team members pass the ten year point.

APUK specialises in placing third-party promotions within busy consumer environments and also offers the opportunity to place promotions on the rear of till rolls. Its roster of retailers includes Sainsbury’s, Morrison’s, Homebase, Makro and The Garden Centre Group, whilst their promoting clients include photography and auto repair franchises, national breakdown companies and numerous utility companies.

Access Point was founded in 1997 and has grown into the largest company in the UK to offer third-party promotions and till receipt campaigns.  As a member of The Sefton Chamber of Commerce, the winner of the 2009/10 Sefton Chamber Business of the Year Award and a holder of the Proud Parenting Excellence Awards, Access Point is a key employer in Southport and is currently looking for more likeminded people to join the team.
