Sainsbury appoints Access Point UK to develop non-listed marketing activity
Non-listed events include the promotion of any product or service which is not carried by the host supermarket.
Access Point UK, based in Southport, Merseyside, specialises in providing opportunities for companies to enhance their trade by promoting products and services to customers of some the biggest and busiest retail outlets in the UK.
Typically this would involve the non-competing company occupying space within a superstore’s footprint for a set period and using that time to promote their products and services to the store’s customers.
The appointment of Access Point UK follows a 13 week trial which took place in 46 stores in across the North West and M4 corridor during the months of June to September. Following this successful trial, a total of 475 Sainsbury’s supermarkets will be open to non-competing retailers exclusively through Access Point UK.
